Donor Information
There are many ways to support your community foundation. Any individual,
family, or business may make a contribution in any amount to an existing endowment. BAF also receives many memorial gifts;
we send formal acknowledgments to both the donor and to the family of the individual remembered by these permanent gifts.
Increasing numbers of donations are received in honor of birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, or some special service.
As with memorial donations, these gifts are recognized with an attractive
card. BAF welcomes contributions to the Word-Connor Administrative Fund; income from this endowment is used for operating
expenses. Our annual Campaign for the 21st Century encourages donors to support our unrestricted funds. Donors also have the
option of establishing a named endowment with a minimum contribution of $10,000. Gifts to the Foundation may be in the form
of cash, stocks, bonds, real estate, life insurance, and certain personal property. Donors make permanent gifts both large
